The 1400-year-old Angel Oak. Okay, so I'm a tree hugger.

The Mother's Day Flower
Sometimes I wish I could shrink down to the size of a ladybug so I could truly appreciate all the intricate details in the center of a flower (especially this one).
My grandmother, who just happens to be my next door neighbor, taught me to appreciate the little things like the sprouting of seedlings, a blooming flower, or discovering your first ripe tomato. I now have a passion for plants and gardening. I love sunflowers and veggies. There's nothing better than picking vegetables that you grew and cooking up something special.
